Indspire – Building Brighter Futures Scholarship

Thanks to the leadership of our Board, the NDAEB team has collaborated with the Indspire team to be the first national dental organization to establish a scholarship to support Indigenous dental assisting students.

2023 Domain Description for Dental Assisting

The Domain Description for Dental Assisting is a document that represents the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours the dental assistant should possess upon entry/re-entry into practice. The Domain reflects the national standards of practice established for dental assisting including all Core Skills agreed upon by NDAEB and stakeholders of the profession in Canada. In 2019/20, a National Occupational Analysis was completed to review the national standards of the dental assisting profession and from the results, a new revised 2023 Domain Description was reviewed and approved by the NDAEB Board of Directors.

2023 Fee Guide

The National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB) Board of Directors approved a fee increase for all services effective January 1, 2023.

National Occupational Analysis for Dental Assisting in Canada

The National Dental Assisting Examining Board and the Canadian Dental Assistants Association, in partnership with the Canadian Dental Assisting Regulatory Authorities are pleased to announce the completion of the National Occupational Analysis (NOA) for the profession of Canadian Dental Assisting 2019/2020.
