NDAEB believes that the health and safety of our candidates and staff across Canada comes first. Therefore, as a result of the move towards mandatory vaccinations in education systems recently confirmed throughout provinces, NDAEB will now require all candidates and staff participating in the upcoming November 2021 Clinical Practice Evaluation (CPE) to be fully vaccinated*.

As such, as of September 21, 2021, candidates planning to register for the November 2021 CPE must submit with their application proof of full vaccinations. * Vaccines must be approved for use in Canada.

*Those with medical exemptions from the Covid-19 vaccination (or other government approved exemptions), must submit supporting documentation with their application to be considered for registration for the CPE and will be required to show negative Covid-19 test results prior to the CPE.

Prior to the CPE

Registered candidates will continue to be required to submit the NDAEB Covid-19 Health Questionnaire (as per directives sent in the Admission Letter).

*Those who have medical exemption (or other*) and have been approved to be registered by NDAEB, will receive a separate notice from the NDAEB office giving them site specific directives for obtaining and submitting a Covid-19 test.

Day of Evaluation

Registered candidates must bring proof of full vaccinations* along with their government issued ID.

*Those with medical exemption (or other*) must provide their supporting documentation of exemption and their negative test results, along with their government issued ID.

Note that this information is subject to change based on the directives and protocols set by the government of Canada and local health officials. Please continue to monitor this website for ongoing Covid-19 updates as more information becomes available pertaining to the NDAEB’s CPE and Written Examination. NDAEB continues to make every effort to ensure the safety of our candidates, staff and the public. Thank you for your continued support.
